About June Hunt
An artist for over thirty years, June Hunt began painting while living in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. She has had the opportunity to travel extensively, and her paintings reflect the wildlife and landscapes of several different regions of the world, including Canada, Africa, and Europe, as well as many locations in the U.S. Though largely self-taught, she was a fine-arts major at Wichita State University, and has taken classes with nationally acclaimed artists, including Hugh Greer, Jean Grastorf, and John Seerey-Lester. Her works hang in private collections in the United States, Mexico and Canada. She paints in oils, watercolor, pastel, and acrylic, and also works in glass mosaic. Love the vibrant colors you use in your paintings. I normally expect watercolor to be a bit weak, but yours are just gorgeous.
